Day #7

So far Ramadan is pretty easy. The last 2 hours are always the hardest. Here are some ways to stop thinking of food.

1. Sleep (its the most common)
2. Try to read the whole quran in Ramadan(1 juz a day)
3. If you get really bored you can play video games
4. Pray extra sunnah
5. Play outside the last hour

Ramadan, Day #3

Today is the 3rd day of Ramadan and I already started to  learn more imporant islamic facts. Here are some things I learned:

* Just because Ramadan is over, it doesn't mean that you can forget Allah.
* If you memorize the 99 names of Allah you will go to Jannah, but only if you know the meaning.
* The more you learn about Muhammad (saw) the more you love him.
* Zubayr and Talha are the first neighbors of Muhammad (saw)
* Zubayr was first to strike a sword to defend Muhammad (saw).
* Talha had 70 wounds during the war of Uhud. He put his hand out to block an arrow from hitting Muhammad (saw) and his hand got paralyzed.

Those were some facts I learned for the past 2 days. The past 2 days we had iftars we had iftar at masjids and today will be our first day eating at home. I can't wait until Iftar to eat food!
